Dr Aswathy Aravindakshan is a teacher, bilingual writer, and artist who has been teaching English language and literature since 2005. She currently serves as Assistant Professor of English at NSS College for Women, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.
She curates ashlit.in, a growing digital repository that brings together academic resources, creative writing, and visual art. What began as a collection of lecture notes and learning materials, developed through years of teaching and careful curation, has evolved into a vibrant platform reflecting both her scholarly and creative pursuits. In recent years, she has also incorporated AI-assisted tools to enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of these resources.
The platform offers concise, student-friendly materials on English language and literature, supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students in their academic journeys and preparation for competitive examinations. Alongside these educational resources, ashlit.in features her original creative writing in both Malayalam and English, including poetry, short prose, reflections, and literary explorations, as well as a curated collection of her paintings and visual artworks.
