Interpreting data
Interpreting data means understanding information shown in charts, tables, signs, or drawings. Graphs and charts help us see information clearly and compare it easily. Signs and symbols convey quick messages using colours and pictures, such as red for stop or danger symbols. Drawings, maps, and diagrams help explain ideas, directions, parts, or steps in a process. Interpreting means finding the correct meaning from these visual forms.
Reporting Data
Reporting data means explaining visual information in words. It involves describing what charts, graphs, signs, or drawings show clearly and accurately. Simple language should be used so others can understand easily. Reporting helps share important information, show changes or comparisons, and explain visuals correctly.
